CM asks DMs to make arrangements in night shelters for poor in winters

In view of the warning of cold wave like conditions issued by the meteorological department due to expected rains, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed all district magistrates to make necessary arrangements in the night shelters. He said that new night shelters for the poor should be opened where necessary.
The CM said that blankets should be distributed to the poor persons. He said that destitute persons especially women, children and ill people should be shifted to the night shelters set by the administration.
The CM also directed the DMs to make arrangements for setting up bonfires at public places. He said that in view of the forecast of snowfall in the higher reaches the cold conditions are likely to prevail in other areas of the State and the administration should take necessary action to provide necessary facilities to the poor in winters.
