Chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat held discussions with all MLAs of the state regarding the Covid-19 situation on Friday. The chief minister said that all the MLAs and public representatives should maintain constant communication with the public in these difficult times.
It is also important that the public representatives encourage the people to take the Covid vaccine, he said. Rawat further said that the officials have been directed to establish coordination with the public representatives to boost the fight against Covid.
Cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi, Dehradun Cantt MLA Harbansh Kapoor, Rajpur MLA Khajan Das, Dharmpur MLA Vinod Chamoli and Dehradun mayor Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’ were also among those present in the meeting held in the chief minister’s camp office.
