Continuing the trend of doing things differently and directly experiencing village life, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami began his Sunday in Tehri district by ploughing a field in Tiwad village. The CM used a small powered disc plough on a field adjoining the homestay where he spent Saturday night. After ploughing the field, Dhami went for a walk around the village where he also interacted with the villagers and learnt about their problems and issues. He also discussed possibilities for tourism in the Tehri dam reservoir.
The CM also sought feedback of the locals on various schemes being implemented by the government. He stressed that the development of the State is possible only with the development of the villages. Later, Dhami reached Chamba where he received an enthusiastic welcome from the locals. He laid wreaths at the monuments to Gabar Singh and Sridev Suman.
