With the chief minister staying put in Delhi, ministry expansion and reshuffling speculations have gained further momentum. Along with this, the statement made by the State BJP chief Mahendra Bhatt affirming that the expansion was in the offing made things clearer. Observers said that the CM’s departure for Delhi a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Uttarakhand visit is itself quite significant. Besides, this is the ideal time for the party to go for the expansion and reshuffle of the State cabinet with the election spree being over.
Political circles are agog with speculations that things would not be confined this time to expansion only but portfolios of a few ministers would be changed, too. This aside, the possibility of the change in the State party chief is not being ruled out either.
