Directs officers to hold Samadhan Chaupals at block & Nyay Panchayat levels
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the Sushila Tiwari government hospital in Haldwani on Tuesday morning. He inspected the registration counters, canteen and wards of the hospital during his visit and interacted with the patients and their caretakers. He said that the Sushila Tiwari hospital is the biggest hospital of Kumaon region and a large number of patients from the mountainous areas and nearby Uttar Pradesh come here for treatment. He directed the principal of the Haldwani medical college Dr Arun Joshi to ensure that the patients are provided better treatment in the hospital. He directed the principal to prepare a proposal for the equipment and other things needed for the hospital and submit it to the state administration so that the necessary budget is allotted as per the requirements.
Dhami said that the officers should hold Samadhan Chaupals at the block and Nyay Panchayat levels to get acquainted with the problems of the people and solve them.
The mayor of Haldwani Jogendra Pal Singh Rautela, MLA Ram Singh Kaida, Kumaon commissioner Deepak Rawat, deputy inspector general of police Nilesh Anand Bharne, district magistrate of Nainital Dhiraaj Garbyal, senior superintendent of police Pankaj Bhatt and others were present during the inspection of the hospital by the CM.
