CM congratulates PM on Haryana victory, pitches for stalled hydropower projects

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday to congratulate him on the historic win of BJP in Haryana Assembly elections. He said that the victory shows the faith the people of the country have towards the leadership of PM Modi.
In the meeting, the CM requested that approval for construction of 21 stalled hydro power projects ( total capacity 2123 MW) should be given as the expert committee -2 constituted on the issue has given its recommendation to these projects. He also requested that the three ropeways- the Sonprayag- Gaurikund- Kedarnath, Govind Ghat- Hemkund and Kathgodam- Nainital should be handed over to the State for development and operation.
The CM said that the air services between Dehradun to Gauchar and Dehradun to Chinyalisaur should be resumed under the regional connectivity scheme.
He requested that the 256.9 km long Kherna- Ranikhet- Baijro road and 189 km Kathgodam- Bhimtal- Lohaghat- Pancheshwar motor road should be notified as national highways.
The CM handed over a replica of Kedarnath temple and Prasad to the PM on the occasion.
