The Panchayati Raj department of Uttarakhand submitted a cheque of Rs 1.51 Crore to chief minster’s relief fund for Covid-19. The cheque was handed over by the department to chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat at Bijapur safe house on Tuesday.
The secretary Panchayati Raj H C Semwal said that the 13 district Panchayats have contributed a sum of Rs one Crore from their fund while Rs 51 lakh were donated by the employees of the department from their salaries.
