CM Dhami launches online platforms for cyber security

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that after the cyber-attack last year the State Data Centre (SDC) has improved itself and a near disaster recovery system has been set up in the State secretariat. He said that with the help of this system the sensitive applications and websites of the State can be made operational within 15 minutes after any emergency situation.
The CM was addressing a programme organised to launch different digital projects of the Information Technology department and National Information Centre (NIC) at the State secretariat on Wednesday.
The CM said that the NIC and IT department of the State have developed online platforms to deal with the challenges of cyber security and data safety. These platforms will help in online monitoring the progress of different departments and will help in transparency and accountability, he said.
The CM further averred that the all the websites are developed in the S3WaaS (Secure, Scalable and Sugamya website as a Service) framework and will prove to be a milestone in cyber security.
In the programme, the CM directed the departments to improve their setup for better implementation of digitalisation. He also asked the departments to keep their websites updated. Dhami directed the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) to provide guidance to the departments to work on the new platforms. The chief secretary Radha Raturi, additional chief secretary Anand Bardhan, principal secretaries R K Sudhanshu, L Fennai, secretaries R Meenakshi Sundaram, Nitesh Jha, Pankaj Pandey, Deependra Chaudhary and R Rajesh Kumar and director ITDA Nitika Khandelwal were present on the occasion.
