CM Dhami takes holy bath at Sangam in Mahakumbh with family

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took a dip at Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj with his family on the occasion of Mahakumbh -2025 on Monday. Invoking the gods and worshiping the holy Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, the CM prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the State.
The CM said that Mahakumbh has been connecting crores of people with the religion and culture of Sanatan Dharma while maintaining its integrity for centuries. He said that the Mahakumbh is not only a symbol of spiritual consciousness but also of national unity, integrity and brotherhood. This great festival has been paving the way for the welfare of the world by inspiring humanity, harmony and moral values for centuries.
Mother of the CM also accompanied the family in taking a bath in Triveni. Terming it as an emotional moment, Dhami said that it is mentioned in the Vedas, scriptures and Puranas that no living being can repay the debt of mother.
“On this divine occasion, I also realized that mother is not only the one who gives birth but is also like a living pilgrimage. All the good deeds in life are fruitful by serving and respecting her. This emotional moment is an example of Sanatan culture, tradition and devotion for me,’’ he said.
