CM Dhami takes out a well-attended roadshow in Gopeshwar

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took out a massive roadshow at Gopeshwar town of Chamoli district on Wednesday. The roadshow started from the Bus Stand and culminated at the Police Line Grounds. Large number of people gathered to welcome the CM and stood on both sides of the road during the show. The CM’s programme saw participation of women, youth, the elderly, local public representatives and BJP workers.
After the roadshow, the CM attended ‘Jan Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan Jan Ke Dwar’ programme being organised under the ongoing ‘ Sewa Pakhwada’ at the Police Line Ground. In the programme, the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation of 63 development schemes of various departments worth Rs 155.36 crore. He laid the foundation stones of 36 schemes of Rs 113.99 crore and inaugurated 27 development schemes worth Rs 41.37 crore.
Addressing the programme, the CM said that the State government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of development schemes reach to the last person standing on the social ladder. He said that continuous work is being done to strengthen roads, bridges, education, health, irrigation, flood protection, animal husbandry, tourism and infrastructure. Dhami said that Chamoli district is extremely important from religious, cultural and strategic perspectives. The State government is committed to the district’s development.
The minister in- charge of Chamoli district Bharat Singh Chaudhary, Tharali MLA Bhupal Ram Tamta, Karnaprayag MLA Anil Nautiyal, Badrinath MLA Lakhpat Butola, district magistrate Gaurav Kumar, Superintendent of Police Surjeet Singh Panwar and others attended the programme.
