Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took out a road show in Badkot, Uttarkashi on Tuesday. He participated in a beneficiary felicitation ceremony at Ramlila ground in the town on the day. In the programme, the CM announced the upgradation of Purola Nagar Panchayat to a municipality. Addressing the gathering the CM said that the State government will solve the problems of the Badkot and Ravain area on priority. He said that the work on the Badkot drinking water project will commence soon.
The CM said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Union and State governments have endeavored to cover the general public under different schemes. He said that work on the restoration and reconstruction of places of pilgrimage is going on in the State. The CM said that under the leadership of PM Modi, reconstruction of Kedarnath and Badrinath temples occurred and the construction of all weather roads has made the Char Dham Yatra easy and accessible.
In the well attended programme the CM listed the achievements of his government.
The BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt, Tehri MP Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, BJP district president Satyendra Rana, MLA Dureshwar Lal, MLA Suresh Chauhan and others were present on the occasion.
