CM Dhami woos Chennai investors with ‘peace to prosperity’ motto of U’khand

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a road show in Chennai on Thursday. The show was organised to promote the Global Investors Summit scheduled to be held in Dehradun. In the show the CM interacted with the investors of different sectors and appealed to them to invest in Uttarakhand and attend the investors summit in Dehradun.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that Uttarakhand and Tamil Nadu are related spiritually. He said that Jyotirlingas are in Rameshwaram in TN and Kedarnath in Uttarakhand. He said that Uttarakhand and Tamil Sangamam should be taken forward. The CM said that apart from being a world class tourism destination Uttarakhand holds investment opportunities in the field of food processing, auto component manufacturing, education and health sectors. With a motto of ‘peace to prosperity’ Uttarakhand is an investment friendly State with excellent human resource, better infrastructure facilities, peaceful environment and transparent policies.

 The CM said that apart from tourism, wellness, Ayush, food processing, automobile and pharmacy the State has included  alternate energy and IT sectors as focus sectors.

He said that the investors are giving very good responses in the road shows held so far in different parts of the country and World.  The CM told the representatives of the industry that the State has reformed more than 30 policies in the last few months to make the State investment friendly.

 The CM said that the theme of the global investors’ summit is ‘peace to prosperity’. The State is developing much new and non conventional industry along with tourism, wellness and hospitality industry. Cabinet ministers Satpal Maharaj and Saurabh Bahuguna also addressed the investors on the occasion.
