The State media in charge of BJP Manvir Chauhan has said that Uttarakhand is on path of development due to the vision of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to link all the temples of Kedarkhand with the Char Dham Yatra.
Interacting with the media persons at Karnprayag on Saturday, Chauhan said that CM Dhami is the modern Bhagirath in true sense and with his transparent governance and action against corruption the CM has shown that he can take tough decisions in the interests of the State. He said that Kedarkhand is moving on the path of development.
The BJP leader averred that projects worth Rs two lakh crore are in progress in Uttarakhand with the help of the union government. He said the double engine government of the State is getting the benefit of closeness with the union government and CM Dhami has played a major role for this. Chauhan said that the CM keeps sharp focus on the progress of the development projects and most of his announcements have been implemented.
He said that the special package to Uttarakhand was snatched away when the Congress government was in centre and the MPs of the Congress party and the State government remained silent spectators.
The opposition leaders have also appreciated the policy of inclusive development adopted by CM Dhami. The travel to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Yamunotri and Gangotri has become very safe and accessible. Chauhan said that with the Karnprayag- Rishikesh rail line the picture of the Garhwal and the border areas is going to change. Apart from increasing connectivity and giving an impetus to development the project will help in reducing migration from the mountainous areas.
Chauhan said that CM Dhami has taken a commitment to make Uttarakhand one of the leading States of the country by the year 2025. He said that the State will organise a global investor’s summit in December this year and for this the CM has held roadshows in different cities of the world and country. The BJP leader informed that Memoranda of Understandings (MoU) worth Rs 94000 crore have already been signed for the summit.
