CM directs officers to dispose of grievances at Tehsil & district levels

Tehsil Diwas to be held on 1st & 3rd Tuesday, DMs to hold public hearing on 4th Tuesday of every month
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that Tehsil Diwas programmes should be regularly held and the district magistrates should hold public hearings every month. He directed that Tehsil Jan Samarpan Diwas should be held on the first and third Tuesday of every month while the DMs should hear public grievances by holding Jan Samarpan Diwas on the fourth Tuesday of the month. He gave the orders while launching the new format of CM helpline 1905 at the secretariat on Tuesday.
Dhami said that all the public grievances and complaints should be registered online. He said that only the issues which remain unresolved at Tehsil and district level should be forwarded to the CM office. Directing the officers to review the departments on the CM helpline 1905 twice a month the CM said that he would also hold review on the last week of every month. He said that awareness should be created in the people about the CM helpline 1905 and it should be ensured that the general public gets benefited from the helpline set up for speedy disposal of the public grievances. He said that good governance is the responsibility of the State government and opined that CM helpline 1905 can play a major role in fulfilling the State government’s objective of ‘simplification, solution and satisfaction’.
In the meeting the CM said that the public grievances should be disposed of at the earliest and not escalated. He said that the issues which can be solved at Tehsil level should not be forwarded to district level and similarly the issues which can be sorted at district level should not get escalated to the State administration. On a stern note the CM directed that the responsibilities of the officers and the employees should be fixed at every level. He said that the anti-corruption app 1064 should be made more powerful.
New version of CM helpline 1905 launched
The CM helpline 1905 has been made more user-friendly and extensive in the new format. In the latest version the facility of web portal, mobile app and feature of audio call recording have been given along with the option of dialling 1905. The helpline was launched last year with an objective to increase transparency in the system and for quick disposal of the files.
The meeting was attended by additional chief secretaries Radha Raturi, Anand Bardhan, principal secretary L Fennai, director general of police Ashok Kumar,
special principal secretary Abhinav Kumar, secretaries R Meenakshi Sundaram, Pankaj Kumar Pandey, BVRC Purushottam, ITDA director Nitika Khandelwal and other officers. All the district magistrates attended the meeting virtually.
