Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami heard public grievances at his camp office in the CM residence here on Sunday. He reiterated to the officials that the issues which can be resolved at the police station, Tehsil and district level should not unnecessarily reach the State administration level. On the receipt of such grievances, the responsibility of the officials concerned should also be fixed, he said. Dhami also directed officials of the CM office to send information about the public grievances received to the department concerned for their swift redressal and also seek information about the action taken on the same.
Citizens communicated their issues related to health, road, drinking water, financial assistance, electricity, land related and other issues to the CM. Dhami directed the officials to take action soon to resolve all these issues. He has also directed all the district magistrates to hold Tehsil Diwas and block development committee meetings on a regular basis. The presence of all the senior officials concerned must also be ensured in these meetings. The DMs have also been directed to give one hour on each working day to listen to public grievances.
Inspector general of police (Garhwal) KS Nagnyal, additional secretary Sanjay Tolia and additional district magistrate of Dehradun Jai Bharat Singh along with other officials were also present on the occasion.
