CM directs PWD to finish patch works on roads before Oct 31

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed the Public Works Department to complete the patch works on the roads of the State before October 31. The CM gave the order while chairing a meeting with the officers of the State administration at his residence on Tuesday. He said that after the end of the monsoon period, the construction activities in the State should be expedited. The CM directed that all the departments should now speed up the works on ground.
He directed the officers of PWD to ensure that all the roads of the State are made free from potholes within the stipulated time frame.
The CM directed the senior officers to undertake weekly review of the pothole free campaign.
On a stern note, Dhami said that the laxity in the construction works and road construction will not be tolerated. He directed the officials to complete the road repair and reconstruction works on priority. The CM asked the officers to focus on the quality of work and keep a strict vigil in the areas from where the regular complaints are being received.
The meeting was attended by principal secretary RK Sudhanshu, secretaries Shailesh Bagauli, Pankaj Pandey, Vinay Shankar Pandey, additional director general of police AP Anshuman, special secretary Parag Madhukar Dhakate and additional secretary Banshidhar Tiwari.
