CM discusses March 18 programme with MLAs

Union minister Nitin Gadkari also to attend event

Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat held a meeting with the MLAs at his residence here on Saturday evening. The CM and MLAs discussed the ‘Batein Kam, Kaam Zyada’ programme to be held on March 18 to mark the completion of four years by the state government in office under Rawat as the CM. Union minister Nitin Gadkari will also be attending the main programme to be held at Lacchiwala in the CM’s Doiwala constituency. Rawat said that on the occasion the public will be informed about the development works executed by the government during its four years in office. In addition to the main programme, similar programmes will be held simultaneously in all the assembly constituencies in the state.

The CM said that committees headed by the MLAs have been formed to ensure successful conduct of the events at the Vidhan Sabha constituency level. The MLAs will preside over the events in the constituencies. In addition to works done by the state government, the MLAs will also inform the public about the works done in their respective constituencies, added Rawat.
