Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended his wishes to all teachers across the State on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. In his message, the CM paid tribute to former President, educationist and philosopher Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, stating that teachers are truly the builders of the nation.

Teachers play a crucial role in educating students, shaping their character and preparing them to be capable citizens. They give society a new direction and contribute to nation-building. “Teachers have always held a supreme place in India’s rich Guru-Shishya tradition. Their knowledge, dedication, and guidance inspire students to advance in life and fulfill their dreams,” Dhami emphasised. He noted that a country and society can progress only where teachers are respected and we must continue striving to strengthen the Indian tradition of reverence and respect for educators.

Describing students as the future of the country, the CM urged them to participate in the development of both the nation and the State by embodying the spirit of respect for their teachers. He expressed gratitude to all teachers and Gurus across the State on this special occasion. Dhami acknowledged that their dedication and contributions pave the way for a bright future for upcoming generations.
