The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has exhorted the citizens to work towards the phasing out of single use plastic. The Uttarakhand cabinet on Saturday had taken a decision towards achieving this. Stating this, the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat further said that vocal for local is the state government’s resolution for this year. Rawat said this after listening to the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat programme here on Sunday morning.
After listening to the PM’s address, the chief minister opined that PM Modi is the guardian of all citizens. The CM said, “His Mann Ki Baat touches the hearts of the listeners. All Indians are taken aback by the incident which took place the Red Fort on an occasion as auspicious as January 26. We now have to take the nation forward with new hope and enthusiasm under the leadership of PM Modi. The nation has fought a long battle against Covid-19. It is the able leadership and farsighted vision of the Prime Minister due to which the whole world is now taking inspiration from India. The vaccination programme is being undertaken successfully in a phased manner.”
