CM grants approval for various works
Chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat issued various instructions related to different departments on Tuesday. He directed that that honourarium for village watchmen in revenue villages should be increased from Rs 1,200 to Rs 2,000 per month as in villages under police areas.
The CM also granted financial approval to various works under different departments. Under the Public Works Department, he granted financial approval to Rs 166.64 lakh in the first stage for renovation of three motor roads in Karnprayag area, Rs 2,084.48 lakh for three works in Dharchula assembly area of Pithoragarh district and Rs 264.75 lakh for renovation of Bidari to Pokhra Ghat in Betalghat area of Nainital. Under disaster management rehabilitation, the CM granted approval to Rs 51 lakh and Rs 44.50 lakh for rehabilitation and resettlement of 12 disaster affected families of Haldiya village in Tharali Tehsil of Chamli district and rehabilitation and resettlement of one disaster affected family of Saned Laga Jingoda in Gairsain respectively.
Under the information and technology department, the CM granted Rs 381.14 approval for regional extension scheme, Rs 186 lakh under national e-governance scheme for state data centre RAM upgradation and Rs 70 lakh for facilitating connectivity through overhead fibre to the Vidhan Sabha building. Approval was also granted to Rs 30.85 lakh for construction of helipad at Didihat in Pithoragarh. Similarly, the CM granted financial approval for works under the social welfare, drinking water and sanitation, forest and environment, food and civil supplies, rural development and urban development departments.
