In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extended greetings to the people of the State on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. He said in his commemorative message that the founder of Sikhism stressed on social equality, peace and fraternity. While paying homage to Guru Nanak Dev, he said that the great saint had fought hard against all kinds of division and discrimination in the society and added that his message of equality, peace and fraternity is becoming more relevant with the passage of time. He prayed for happiness and prosperity of the people of the State on this auspicious occasion.
