In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flagged off the scheme christened as ‘Apni Sarkar: Nagarik Sevae Aapke Dwar’ at his camp office. The State government sources said that as part of this pilot project, service would reach one’s door following a phone call . While inaugurating the scheme, the CM said that this marks the beginning of this scheme and services under this scheme would be started in other parts of the State as well in the coming days. “This scheme is meant to take service at the doorstep of the people,” he said, adding that 575 categories of online services are included in the Apni Sarkar portal. He further said that at present this service would be implemented in 100 wards in Dehradun.
To avail this service, one may call on the toll-free number18009110007. Under this scheme, not just the applications would be received from the people’s homes but the certificates and documents applied for would be taken to their homes.
Speaking on the matter, the secretary Sailesh Bagauli said that the State government would first review the progress of this scheme three months after its launch and then this service would be expanded across the State. “Later, the senior citizens living in the remote areas of the State will reap benefits of this service-oriented scheme,” he added. .
