In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Mukhya Mantri Sashakt Bahna Utsav Yojana at the Secretariat.
The women associated with self-help groups in all the development blocks watched the CM’s direct dialogue with women live and some of them also interacted with him. Notably, under the Uttarakhand State Rural Livelihood Mission, a stall displaying local products has been set up by the all-women self-help groups in the district collectorate premises in Tehri. These women apprised the Tehri district magistrate Mayur Dixit of the local products produced by them, their prices, sales and the volume of their savings. The CM stressed on the quality and attractive packaging of such products to boost sales. While congratulating these women on their endeavours to achieve self- reliance, the CM said that the Mukhya Mantri Sashakt Bahna Utsav Yojana is meant to provide an expansive market to such products and to promote their demand in the markets.
