Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an inspection of the Char Dham Yatra registration office in Rishikesh on Monday. He viewed the arrangements made for the pilgrims in the registration office during his visit. The CM also interacted with pilgrims coming for Yatra from different parts of the country and took feedback from them.
In his visit, the CM directed the officers to strengthen the basic facilities including drinking water, food, sanitation and health services for the pilgrims. Dhami inspected the rest rooms, health centre and the Yatra control room and other facilities and arrangements made for the pilgrims. The CM directed the officers that they should ensure that there is no inconvenience to the pilgrims and they should work in a coordinated manner for a safe and smooth Char Dham Yatra.
Garhwal commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey, inspector general of police KS Nagniyal and officers of the district administration were present on the occasion.
