CM launches Corruption-Free U’khand App-1064
Dhami advocates strict action against the corrupt & fast disposal of all complaints

In a major initiative aimed at curbing corruption in the government departments, the Vigilance department launched Corruption-Free Uttarakhand App- 1064 on Friday. The app was formally inaugurated by the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at the state secretariat. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that fast disposal of the complaints received on the app should be ensured. He said that if the complaints received on the app are not related with Vigilance department then they should be forwarded promptly to the CM helpline and the department concerned. Dhami stressed that the complainant should receive updates about the status of his or her complaint. On a stern note, the CM said that strict action should be taken against the corrupt employees and swift disposal of all complaints should be ensured. He said that the principle of ‘ simplification, solution, disposal and satisfaction’ should be followed for the quick disposal of the public issues. Dhami asserted that the resolution of the public issues is the top priority of his government. He ordered the director of Vigilance to give proper publicity to the Corruption-Free Uttarakhand App -1064 so that general public knows about this useful tool. The CM handed over tablets to two inspectors of the Vigilance department for investigating the complaints. The department would soon provide tablets to other employees for investigation.
Informing about the app, the Vigilance director Amit Sinha said any one can register his complaint using the app or by making a call on 1064 number. He said that number is registered with the Government of India. Sinha informed that all complaints would be registered on the app and the whole data would be kept safe. He said that the app is in both Hindi and English languages and the identity of the complainant would be kept secret.
The chief secretary Sukhbir Singh Sandhu, Personnel and Vigilance secretary Arvind Singh Hyanki, superintendent of police Renu Lohani, CO S S Samant and others were also present on the occasion.
