CM lays foundation stone of 213 ft high tricolour in Khatima

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami laid the foundation stone of the mast of the 213 feet high national flag being installed at Kanjabag Tiraha, Khatima in Udham Singh Nagar on Wednesday. 

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the national flag is a symbol of the unity, integrity and valour of the country. It inspires every citizen with the spirit of patriotism, he said. The CM averred that once installed the colossal flag will become a centre of attraction for tourists. 

Cabinet ministers Ganesh Joshi and Saurabh Bahuguna, Lok Sabha MP Ajay Bhatt, lieutenant general (retd) Sandeep Jain, Mayor of Rudrapur Vikas Sharma, Kashipur Mayor Deepak Bali, Haldwani Mayor Gajraj Bisht and others attended the programme.
