The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. The meeting lasted for nearly an hour. It is learnt that the CM has taken up some important issues the state has been facing for discussion with the PM. Besides, he thanked the PM and the Centre for the financial and other assistances being given to the state. CM Dhami during his Delhi trip has also met the Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. He is also scheduled to meet several Union ministers and central BJP leaders. Observers are attaching much importance to the CM’s current Delhi trip.
