Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami exchanged Deepawali greetings with soldiers, ex-servicemen and their family members on Sunday. Visiting the Deepawali Milan programme organised by Garhwal Regiment in Garhi cantonment here, the chief minister interacted with the soldiers and their family members present on the occasion. Dhami interacted with many serving and ex-servicmen along with their family members individually and enquired about the welfare while wishing them on the occasion of Deepawali.
The chief minister also visited various stalls put up by the soldiers at the event venue. Various cultural presentations were also made on the occasion. The Garhwal Regiment soldiers, ex-servicemen and family members were also present on the occasion. It will be recalled that Dhami’s father had also served in the army and in line with the BJP’s central leadership, the CM has also focused on interacting with serving and ex-servicemen especially on special occasions.
