The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and other leaders from Uttarakhand have expressed sorrow on the death of former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and founder of Samajwadi Party Mulayam Singh Yadav. “The news of the death of the former CM of UP Mulayam Singh Yadav is sad. I wish the god to provide his soul a place at his feet,’’ tweeted CM Dhami after the death of the SP leader.
The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara said that the demise of the Yadav is an irreparable loss for UP and the nation. He said that the void created by his death is difficult to fill. Mahara said that Yadav participated in the Samajwadi movement and rendered long services to the nation in different capacities. He said that the contribution of Yadav as Defence minister and CM of UP would be remembered by everyone.
Remembering his association in the past with the SP founder, vice president of Uttarakhand Congress Surya Kant Dhasmana also expressed grief on the death of Yadav.
