CM participates in Deeksha ceremony in Dev Sanskriti varsity

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the 40th Gyan Deeksha ceremony in Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar on Saturday. Greeting the students on the occasion, the CM hoped that all students would take forward the river of sacred knowledge among the masses. He said that the whole world is looking towards India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the International Yoga day is an example of this.
The CM exhorted the students to take a pledge to serve the people and make a new India. He said that we all have a golden opportunity to write the Amrit Kal of the country in the next 25 years. Dhami said that everyone would have to contribute to fulfil the dream of new India as envisioned by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Remembering the founder of Gayatri Pariwar, Sriram Sharma Acharya, the CM said that there are very few people like him who have changed the lives of millions of people in the world with their ideas. He was a harbinger of mass awareness in the society, he said.
The Chancellor of the Dev Sanskriti University Pranav Pandya attended the programme in online mode. He said the ceremony would provide a new life to the students and is an opportunity to instill spiritualism in them. Pandya said that apart from curriculum the university also teaches ways to live life.
The Vice Chancellor (VC) of the university Sharad Pardhi, Pro VC Chinmay Pandya, students and their parents were present on the occasion.
