The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami condoled the death of the veteran statehood activist and the former chairperson of the state women’s commission Sushila Baluni. He placed a wreath on her body at her residence at Dobhalwala in Dehradun. He prayed for the peace of the departed soul and also sought strength for the bereaved family so that they could bear the loss. He said that Sushila Baluni’s role in the formation of Uttarakhand as a separate state would be always remembered gratefully. The cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi also paid tributes to the departed leader.
