In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid floral tributes to the late General Bipin Rawat who was the first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) at his statue in Kanak Chowk to mark his second death anniversary. Hailing the deceased General as a brave son of Uttarakhand, the CM said that he had served the nation for over four decades while holding important positions in the defence forces. The State soldier welfare minister Ganesh Joshi was also present on the occasion.
