The chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has offered tributes to the martyrs on the eve of the Kargil Vijay Diwas on Tuesday. In his message, the CM said that the Indian army has always enhanced the prestige of the country by its valour and bravery. He said that the large number of soldiers from Uttarakhand laid down their lives for the nation in the Kargil war.
The CM said that the State government is committed for the welfare of soldiers, ex servicemen and their family members. He said that the entire world respects the soldiers of the Indian army for their bravery and valour and the nation would always remember the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Kargil war.
