CM presents appointment letters to 45 candidates selected for Home Dept & Youth Welfare Dept

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami handed over appointment letters to 45 newly appointed candidates for Home department and Youth Welfare department here on Tuesday. The selected candidates received their letters for various positions, including 11 lab assistants under the Home department and 34 regional youth welfare officers under the Prantiya Rakshak Dal (PRD).
During his address, Dhami congratulated all the newly selected candidates. He expressed hope that the selected candidates would work with dedication and integrity in their respective fields. Dhami emphasised that starting work with a regular routine makes every path easier. He encouraged the candidates to contribute significantly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of developing India by 2047.
The CM further highlighted that over the past three and a half years, appointments have been made for more than 19,000 government positions in the state, with the recruitment process for many posts currently underway. Since implementing a strict anti-copying law, recruitment examinations have been conducted promptly and transparently, he said.
Dhami said that Uttarakhand has entered its silver jubilee year. He assured that the government is undertaking development works considering the state’s needs for the next 25 years.
Further, Sports and Youth Welfare minister Rekha Arya addressed the new officers, stating that their primary goal is the upcoming 38th National Games. She urged them to begin preparations immediately for organising the event. Arya noted that taking care of the international-level sports infrastructure developed in the state would be a significant responsibility for the new officers. Additionally, she emphasised that after the National Games, the regional youth welfare and PRD officers must cultivate new talent at the block level and ensure proper training facilities, starting their preparations now.
