CM questions unruly behaviour of Congress MLAs

Expressing his annoyance at the Congress MLAs’ unruly behaviour during the governor’s address on the first day budget session of Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that both the ruling party and opposition share equal responsibility for smooth conduct of house. He said that on the one hand the Congress party is demanding an increase in the duration of budget session and on the other hand it is creating hindrance in the smooth conduct of business in the house. Dhami said that by registering undue protest and walking out of the house, the Congress is engaging in wasting time and resources.

DEHRADUN : Known for his candid views which sometimes deviate away from the official line of the party, the Congress MLA from Dharchula, Harish Dhami on Tuesday praised chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for the successful conduct of 38th National Games. Interacting with the mediapersons, the Congress MLA said that one should appreciate the good work of the government for successful  organisation of National Games. He said that the players and youths benefitted from the National Games. Dhami said that the State government should construct good stadiums in all the blocks and tehsils. “This will develop a sports culture in the State and prevent the youngsters from falling prey to drugs,’’ he said.
