Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami declared in the Assembly in Bharadisain during the budget session that the cases lodged against youth in the lathicharge case would be withdrawn. The CM further said that a provision of Rs 1000 crore has been made in the budget proposals for the construction of a new Joshimath. An effective plan for relief and rehabilitation works in Joshimath would be made in close cooperation with the Union government. The Centre has assured every possible step to support the State government in rebuilding Joshimath, CM said.
