While taking review meeting regarding the administrative preparedness for the upcoming Kanwar Yatra, the State chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officials to ensure that the people who would come from other states to collect water from Ganga during the yatra get the best facilities. He stressed on the completion of all arrangements well before the yatra starts. He also stressed on cleanliness and said all the public toilets should be cleaned every two hours. He urged the officials to ensure proper parking spaces. Further, he laid stress on security and on constant monitoring of the situation through CC TV cameras. He said that no slackness would be tolerated in the matter of security of the yatra. He further said that the advisory firmed up for the yatra should be publicized widely, adding that a whatsapp group would be formed comprising the senior officers of the administration and the police aside from the officers from those districts directly connected with the yatra.
