Dhami to cultivate investment opportunities ahead of global investors summit in Doon
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will be meeting with India’s prominent industrialists to urge them to invest in the State. The interactive session with leading industry associations slated to be held in Delhi on Monday is being seen as a build-up to the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023 scheduled to be held in Dehradun in December. It will be recalled that this will be the second Investors Summit to be held in Uttarakhand after 2018 and the State government has set a target of attracting investments of over Rs 2.5 lakh crore through it.
Officials stated that during the meeting in Delhi, the industrialists will be informed about the short, medium- and long-term policies of Uttarakhand. They will also be provided with details of various facilities and single window system being provided by the State government for the investors. The CM will talk about the aim of the investors summit, which is to stop migration and provide employment opportunities to the people of Uttarakhand. This summit is aimed at making Uttarakhand a part of top destinations for global industries along with bringing new technologies and discoveries to the State so that the State’s industries too can gain from them.
