CM to release counts of leopards, monkeys & langurs

In latest Dehradun news, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is going to release the leopard count after the tiger count was issued by the State government. It is learnt that the CM would officially announce the leopard count at the meeting of the State Wildlife Board to be held at the State Secretariat. At the same time, the counts of monkeys and langurs in the State would be announced, the State Wildlife Board officials informed. It is further learnt that the Wildlife Institute of India and the forest department conducted the count of these three animals in the State together. As per the last leopard count conducted in 2008, the figure was 2335.
