In latest news from Dehradun, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is set to visit United Arab Emirates and Dubai to woo the business fraternity for the Global Investors’ Summit slated in Dehradun in December. Sharing details of the CM’s programme, a senior State government officer said that the CM will tour Dubai on October 16 and Abu Dhabi on October 17 and interact with the entrepreneurs there for investment in the State. The officer further said that the CM during these tours would try to attract investment in real estate, hospitality, logistic hub and facility management. Notably, accompanied by a delegation of senior State government officers, the CM had visited England in the last week of September and during this visit, memorandums of understanding (MoU) worth Rs 19,500 crores were inked. The State government expects that the CM’s upcoming UAE and Dubai trips would elicit good response, too.
