In latest news from Dehradun, with the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya-slated on January 22- drawing near, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote a letter to the Union Civil Aviation minister Jyotiraditya Schindia, urging him to start flight service between Dehradun and Ayodhya to facilitate the pilgrims from the State to visit the Ram Mandir and pay obeisance to Lord Ram at his birthplace. In the letter, Dhami further wrote that in view of hordes of people coming to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand on pilgrimage, the launching of the air service between Dehradun and Ayodhya would also help them reach Ayodhya straight from here.
