In latest news from Uttarakhand, with heavy rain having wreaked havoc in Tehri, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an on-ground inspection of the affected areas and assured the disaster-hit people of full assistance from his government. He said that Ghuttu had experienced excessive rain due to cloud burst, which left widespread damages in its wake.
He directed the district administration to provide adequate relief to the affected people. He also ordered them to expedite the reconstruction work. Also, he assured that compensation commensurate with the damages would be paid to those entitled at the earliest.
