In latest news from Uttarakhand, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered puja at the revered Siddhapeeth Surkanda Devi temple. He said he had prayed for the wellbeing of the country and the State. He interacted with the devotees and collected feedback. Also, he spoke to the local shop owners. Besides, he purchased local materials produced by the women of the local all-women self-help groups.
He said that all the major temples of the State were being included in the winter pilgrimage circuit and preparations had almost been completed. The response was so far good, he added.
