The Media in charge of Uttarakhand Congress Rajeev Mehrishi has said that the statement of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on uniform civil code on the last day of election campaign is an act of desperation. He said that the CM has seen the writing on the wall and understood that BJP is losing the election so he has made the statement in a desperate attempt to polarise the voters. Mehrishi said that the people of the state have made up their minds to change the government in the state and they would reject such attempts of polarisation.
