The AAP leader and founder of Youth Foundation, Colonel (Retd) Ajay Kothiyal started a 20 bed hospital for treatment of Covid-19 patients here on Wednesday. Named as ‘Maxima healthcare’ and located at Shimla Bye pass road, the hospital would treat Covid 19 patients free of cost. The state health department and administration have given their clearances for operating this hospital.
Noted Urologist Dr Ashok Luthra, Dr Harish Basera and Dr Ashish Kothiyal are helping Kothiyal in this endeavour. Three phone numbers 9568746097, 9760853450 and 9599223097 were also released by the hospital authorities for getting into contact with them.
Speaking on the occasion of inauguration of the hospital Kothiyal said that the hospital has been set up as per the standards of the army. “The hospital would have specialist doctors and trained medical staff. The patients would be taken care of in the best possible manner and nutritious food would be given to them. Soon similar hospitals would be set up in other parts of the state as well,’’ he said.
