Cold day condition & fog warning issued for plains

Even as rain and snowfall remain elusive in Uttarakhand, the State Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning (Watch) regarding the possibility of dense fog likely to occur at isolated places in Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar districts and plains of Nainital, Champawat, Dehradun and Pauri districts on Monday. Further, cold day conditions are likely to occur at isolated places in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts today. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in all districts of the State today.

The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to witness a partly cloudy sky. Mist/shallow fog are also likely to occur. The maximum and minimum temperatures here are likely to be about 23 degrees Celsius and eight degrees Celsius respectively on Monday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Sunday were 22.6 degrees Celsius and 7.4 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 13.4 degrees Celsius and 8.4 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 20.4 degrees Celsius and 5.9 degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 18.6 degrees Celsius and five degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
