Cold day conditions likely in two districts today

The State meteorological centre has issued a yellow warning (Watch) regarding the possibility of cold day conditions likely to occur at a few places in Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts on Tuesday. Dense fog is likely to occur in some parts of Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar districts while ground frost is likely to occur at isolated places in the mountainous regions of the State. Further, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur in some parts of plains in Dehradun, Pauri and Nainital districts. Apart from this, dry weather is likely to prevail in the districts of the State today.
The meteorological centre has forecast that the provisional State capital Dehradun is likely to witness a mainly clear sky with mist/shallow fog likely to occur during the early morning/morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be about 21 degrees Celsius and five degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun.
The maximum and minimum temperatures recorded in various parts of the State on Monday were 21.8 degrees Celsius and 5.8 degrees Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 13 degrees Celsius and 7.8 degrees Celsius in Pantnagar, 15 degrees Celsius and four degrees Celsius in Mukteshwar and 14.6 degrees Celsius and 4.4 degrees Celsius in New Tehri.
