Complaints received on CM helpline- 1905 to be reviewed fortnightly

Our objective should be satisfying all the complainants: Dhami
Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed that the review of all the complaints received on the CM helpline- 1905 should be reviewed at the level of State administration every 15 days. He said this while chairing a review meeting of the CM helpline at the secretariat here on Monday. Dhami said that the portal should not become a formality but should be an effective medium for solving the problems of the people.
The CM said that he himself would take feedback on the disposal of the complaints by talking with some of the complainants from all districts every week. He said that the 1905 helpline has been set up for helping the general public and fast disposal of the public grievances. Dhami said that the objective should be the satisfaction of the complainants and added that all pending complaints should be disposed of in the next ten days.
To the surprise of the officers the CM also phoned two complainants- Sunil of Udham Singh Nagar and Virendra Singh of Rudraprayag to check the arrangements and the system of the helpline. Dhami said that the employees associated with the helpline should be given more training. He stressed on the need to increase awareness among the masses regarding the helpline.
A presentation about the CM helpline 1905 was given by additional secretary Jagdish Kandpal in the meeting. The meeting was attended by the additional chief secretary Radha Raturi, all principal secretaries, secretaries, director general of police, district magistrates of all districts and other officers.
