Taking a stern note of the delay in release of government orders (GOs) for the approved proposals, chief secretary Radha Raturi directed the officers concerned to take prompt action in this regard. She said that all the pending schemes and projects where the proposals are pending at DPR or other level should be completed under the missing link fund.
The CS reviewed the progress of various schemes funded by the missing link fund at the State secretariat on Monday. The CS directed the Finance secretary to seek proposals from all departments so that the incomplete schemes can be completed by releasing the budget.
While discussing missing link fund, Raturi said that the fund is a golden opportunity to complete the incomplete schemes.
All the departments should seriously evaluate the unfinished at their level and the information should also be taken from field officers, she said. Raturi added that all the departments should take ownership of the schemes. She also gave instructions for clarity and simplification of the processes in the approval and implementation of the schemes.
The CS directed that the progress of previously approved proposals should also be regularly uploaded on the PM Gatishakti portal. She said that the officers can contact her any time so that there is no delay in government work related to files in the absence of officers, especially secretaries. Raturi advised the officers to develop a work culture of dedication and promptness.
Under the missing link such proposals are funded which do not get funding under any scheme in the districts.
Secretaries Shailesh Bagauli, Dilip Jawalkar, BVRC Purushottam and other officers attended the meeting.
