In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the Char Dham Yatra rush and chaos hogging national headlines, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Rishikesh-the starting point of the pilgrimage- and conducted physical inspection of the registration office. He spoke to the devotees who have gathered from across the country to embark on the pilgrimage and took their feedbacks on the Yatra arrangements.
He directed the officials concerned to be pro-active on the basic amenities like drinking water, meal, sanitation and health. Also, he visited resting places, health centres and the Yatra control room.
